The introductions to each recording
Fear and Mistrust: This is a ZPoint recording designed to address our issues around fear and mistrust. Not many of us escape these issues and so it can perhaps be seen as a universal tranquiliser. It is important to recognise that letting go of our tension gives us the clear mind that is required to access inspiration to help make the best decisions. Tension will always stop us thinking straight and decisions will be made on avoiding tension and discomfort instead of what is the best in that situation for all. Much emphasis is put on trying but a lot less effort is needed for the same result if we go with the flow. This does not mean we do nothing and conform to what is damaging to us but if we are calm in all difficulties we can make the best choices for all and doing takes no effort because we are not fighting against the tide. So with this in mind lets stop trying so hard and get into the flow of life.
There is a special extra long recording included with this for more stubborn cases.

Sadness and Depression: This is a ZPoint exercise to help address sadness and depression. These emotions result from closing off from life and in particular to others, particularly those who have hurt us. It results in us building a wall around ourselves that may feel protective but also stops us receiving anything back from others and replenishing what we give out. We may then feel resentful of giving to others and have feeling that we can only give a certain amount before we become exhausted and depleted. Letting this wall down can leave us feeling vulnerable to attack though but as long as we realise that we would only be attacked if we also hold on to anger, resentment and fear, we can gradually let down our guard. Often anger and resentment help make up the walls and disguise the sadness and are often easier to cope with than sadness, so we can sometimes oscillate between the two. Forgiveness of others behaviour is the key to setting ourselves free and letting ourselves off the hook. Often our holding on to anger and grudges doesn’t hurt the other person at all but will always hurt us. So with this in mind lets set ourselves free from our prisons we inadvertently have created.

Anger and Frustration:This is a ZPoint exercise to help address issues around anger, frustration and resentment. This is not just for those of us who express our anger, verbally or physically, but for those who suppress these emotions, leading to all sorts of health problems that ‘eat us up’ inside. This exercise is intended to help us be assertive, rather than be too pushy, or a ‘pushover’, so rest assured that letting go of these feelings will not cause us to be easily controlled, but give us more control.

Anger towards a Specific Person:This is a ZPoint exercise for clearing anger towards a certain person. It is advisable to do this after working on the general anger clearing several times. We may think we can generally clear anger from ourselves, but still have one or two (or three!) people that we can hold on to anger towards. Maybe we find their behaviour particularly difficult to forgive, or we feel they will be ‘getting away with it’. We are not giving to them as much as we are giving to ourselves when we let go of anger so let’s break out of our prisons now with this clearing.
Giving and Receiving:This is a z-point script designed to address our acceptance of the good things in life. Many of us do not recognise that we need to have a clear obstacle free avenue if we are to receive and give. Many of us don’t recognise that in order to give we need to receive as well or we run the risk of exhaustion and burn out. Many of us believe it is wrong to receive unless we pay for it in some way first. Few recognise that if we receive we can then give with a glad heart and end up being able to give more. So with this in mind lets tackle this epidemic in humanity by beginning with ourselves.

Self consciousness:This is a Z-Point recording designed to address our issues around self consciousness, shyness or social phobia. This distressing way of being creates a constant chatter of negative, self-deprecating thoughts that stop us being open and authentic with others, and creates tension whenever we make contact with people not familiar to us, and physiological reactions, such as blushing and panic. So lets tackle this tension and set ourselves free.

Success and Failure: This is a Z-Point recording designed to address our issues around success and the fear of failure. The idea is to release all the deeply held beliefs and fears we have about being successful. It may sound crazy that we would not want to be successful, but when we imagine this happening. all our objections will show up and this is what we will clear with this exercise.

Body Image:This is a z-point recording designed to address our issues around body image. This is intended to help us feel more relaxed around our appearance. This doesn't mean that we will be more neglectful with our body or appearance, but taking away the tension about this will help us stop the pendulum swing of doing either one extreme of no nurturing or the other of eating too much or spending too much time in front of the mirror. This would be great for anyone who diets a lot or is considering plastic surgery. For anyone suffering from anorexia or bulimia, it could be combined with some of the other recordings, such as 'anger and frustration' and 'fear and mistrust'.

Money Issues:This is a ZPoint exercise for those of us who have issues with money. We either feel we have too little money or that money slips through our fingers and that we are constantly short of it. This exercise is designed to help us be more relaxed around our financial situation, which does NOT mean that we will spend too much, but that we will make better decisions about spending and see opportunities for making money.

Grief and Loss:This is a ZPoint clearing designed to help us let go of pain we feel about a specific person who has gone from our lives, whether through death or another separation. It is designed to deal with the painful emotions so we can live on with only good memories and feelings. It could be adapted to suit other things and times we have lost as well by giving them a name. Emotions will most certainly come up in doing this exercise, but, as it's repeated these emotions will become less painful. This exercise will most certainly need to be repeated often to begin with, and then particularly at difficult dates. One thing to be aware of is that it will not make us forget.

Sabotage:This is a z-point recording to help address our issues around sabotage. Sabotage in our lives is due to lots of factors, but all of us do it. Whenever we try to make changes for the better these sabotagers often quickly turn up in our lives. They are a large part of our belief structure that repeat over and over and show up as thoughts, emotions and behaviour, and affect others behaviour towards us as a result. They are the discouragers and the doubt makers who put a brake on our progress and create the 'one step forward, two steps back' effect. They should not, however, be seen as the enemy, but as being there to be recognised and let go of as part of our past that we don’t need any more, and unless we do let them go there will always be obstacles on our life journey. This is a deep clearing, but a necessary one. I believe this recording will be one that will be best revisited regularly as new aspects come up as we work on different areas in our lives.

Don't be misled into thinking that because these are short recordings that they can't be effective. They are unlike normal relaxation exercises because they are specific to the problem addressed, so don't need to be long or carried out lying down with eyes closed. In fact, I do them mostly when walking the dog, before I go to sleep or when I wake up in the morning :)
